LTSA is firmly committed to supporting the recruitment and development of teachers of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
As such, LTSA has recently been successful in bids for the Paid Internship for the Teaching Scheme and the Physics and Maths TSST. These projects are being run in partnership with NCTL and LTSA is one of very few organisations to be involved. Both projects focus on recruiting more STEM teachers to teaching.
LTSA SCITT has been successful in recruiting STEM teachers and subject specific support is a key focus of our programme. Trainees can learn to teach in a wide range of schools in Lincolnshire and enjoy a rich array of experiences.
LTSA is a member of a group of Lincolnshire Teaching Schools who plan exciting and supportive training opportunities for maths teachers at all stages of their career. Examples include NQT training and opportunities to engage in research.
LTSA is the lead of the Lincolnshire Science Learning Partnership. Through this teachers can access a variety of types of support such as subject specific training (e.g. A Level Chemistry) or bespoke support for leaders of departments.
