The Application Process
Lincolnshire Leaders of Governance
Governors who wish to be considered for this opportunity to shape the future of governance support in Lincolnshire, gain recognition as an LLG and to be a member of the Lincolnshire Development Group will need to complete an application form. To download the application form please follow the link at the bottom of the page.
Once completed the form needs to be then sent through to the LTSA for the attention of Sharon Sehmi, LTSA Admin Officer, Keyworth Centre, Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln, LN6 0EP or by Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The closing date for applications is Wednesday 10th May 2017.
Once the application has been received, references will be requested and added to your application form. The completed form will then be scrutinised at the LLG Panel and shortlisting for the interview panel will be completed. Interviews will either be held on Monday 22th May 2017 between 4.00pm and 6.00pm and Tuesday 23th May 2017 between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.
You will be notified by Monday 15th May 2017 if you are being called for interview. You will be notified of the outcome of the interview on Friday 26th May 2017. Successful applicants will be expected to attend a training programme, attendance at which is a condition for becoming an LLG. The training will cover:
- Models of Governance
- Coaching and mentorship skills and ways of working
- Familiarisation of current DfE documentation relating to governance
- Consideration of Case studies of NLG deployments.
